NPT, Collegiate event and Poster sessions

The deadline for submitting abstracts in the New Product Technology (NPT) session (SETC18), Collegiate event session (SETC19) and Poster session (SETC20) is August 31, 2025.

For these specific sessions, abstracts must be submitted through the dedicated section of the SETC 2025 event in the SAE technical paper and session development tool – MyTechZone.

New Product Technology (NPT) session description

After your abstract is accepted, you will be required to prepare an extended abstract (maximum of two pages) summarizing your presentation for the NPT session, which is an oral-only session. Unlike a full-length technical paper, this summary will not be formally published; however, it should provide a clear, precise, and technically informative overview of your presentation.

The New Product Technology Session will introduce a wide range of new products, services, manufacturing devices, development tools including software and other new items from technical perspective.

In the technical field handled by SETC, the various products and services are produced around the world every day, and the latest technologies are used to enhance customer value. This session will focus on the technologies that make them possible, and will show the superiority and novelty of functions, performance advantages, and value proposition related to the products and services. Leading to further technological evolution and value creation are expected through this session.
